Museum Mile Day

New York city put out the IDNYC cards with incentives that if you signed up for this ID, then you can get free memberships if you sign up in 2015. We have taken advantage of a few of these and wanted to go and get the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of the City of New York in one day. We took Edith while Israel was at school, on Will's day off. We toured just a little bit and then played at the "Ancient Park" next to the Met, which is super cool because it looks like Egyptian pyramids! It was a fun day and we were so proud of Edith for hanging in like a champ. She even stayed awake until we got home around 1:30 and took a nap at home! 

Will loved the NYC marathon exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York.






We love having access (for free!) to some of the top museums in New York! IDNYC is pretty spectacular! We got our BBG and Museum of Natural History memberships through the program, and we're hoping to get our children's museum membership before the year runs out!
