Necessities = provided!

Thanks to incredible family & friends, we are slowly acquiring the necessities to bring home a baby!

Last month my sister gave us a barely used Graco carseat (that goes from infant 12lbs to toddler 40lbs, yay!). Then last week my MIL's best friend gave us an exercauser, pack & play, and umbrella stroller that were barely used (she bought them to use to babysit) and then last week my MIL bought us.... our crib!!!

Target ran a very cool deal last week where you could buy certain cribs & get a FREE mattress. So we got the crib & mattress for $150! Score!! Thanks Mom & Dad McGee for buying our crib!!

Although Will says we still aren't allowed to go shopping yet, knowing that we have a few things already just makes my heart skip a beat. We're really going to have a baby!

And while we aren't doing too much to prepare for our baby by buying stuff at this point, the Lord has been so good to us as we prepare emotionally & mentally for an addition to our family. I just got back from the Created For Care retreat in Atlanta and can't wait to share what God has been teaching me.

  6. We are also slowly acquiring some things- I am TRYING to keep most of it for the awful waiting period between referral and travels... I think I will need the distraction! :-) But it is SO hard to resist! We just picked up a stroller last week! ;-)

  7. So sorry I didn't say goodbye! We left at 8:30 to beat the traffic and get home earlier than 2 in the morning. I had a great time getting to know you better and getting to see your heart for the Lord. Have a great week!
