Sigh of Relief!

Friday our homestudy was sent to AGCI for review!!! Our case manager emailed us Friday night saying "Go into this weekend with peace knowing that all that work you did has gotten you to the point where you should be just fine to be referred when that day comes!" 

Isn't that relieving?! So now we are back on track, ready to get a referral when that day comes. We know that it could be any day now OR we could end up waiting several months! We have a friend that waited nine weeks at the #1 spot- so we know that is possible. 

Just as a heads-up, when we DO get a referral we will not be posting any baby pictures online. We promise we will want to show them to you when the timing is right, but until the child is legally ours we can't post anything online. But I'm sure if you want to swing by Alabama I'll show them to you in person!

Also, we are going to keep our child's story between us. Not even grandparents or aunts and uncles are going to know the baby's story about why and how it came to be relinquished/orphaned. We feel that this is extremely personal information that our child should be the first to know. Please respect us by not asking questions about the child's history.

And I can't thank all of you enough for sharing in our excitement and encouraging us during this crazy season. It is so fun to have so many friends who are walking through this with us, that support us and are praying for this process.
