NYC marathon

A few weeks ago the New York City marathon ran right by our house!! How cool is that? The marathon runs all along 4th avenue in Bay Ridge, right past our apartment building and along the road to our church. It was a Sunday morning so we left early on the way to church and thankfully had a chance to cross the street before the marathon took off. On the way home there were still thousands of runners going by, so we had to go under the subway to cross the street! It was really cool to see this huge event run past us. Will got to take pictures of one of his favorite runners. He hopes he can run it one day! 

The kids loved the excited atmosphere and cheered and clapped along with the other spectators! What a fun morning!
