Annalise Baby Dedication

We had Annie's baby dedication Sunday. It was such a beautiful little ceremony in our service. I love how the church vows to stand with us and raise our girl, and I love knowing that we are going to root ourselves here so that they can and will.

I also love the charge to model to Annalise the way to have a relationship with God, and how we commit to teach her about Jesus. I think there's something so beautiful about that verbal commitment which says we are not going to passively raise our girl - we are going to live with intentionality as we teach our baby to become a woman of God.

So thankful for this bonus round daughter, this child who has brought us closer to Jesus, and has brought us more delight than we knew was ever coming our way. We hope Annie you never see yourself as anything but a child that was hand-picked by God and who has such a beautiful purpose.
