Alstede Farms (Phone Pics)

Pics from my phone from our day at Alstede!

We took the kids out of school for the day on a Friday and headed to New Jersey for some fall fun. It was a relatively inexpensive outing - $50 for the family for horse rides, bounce house, a really long hayride and other fall fun.

Israel LOVED the animals.


Hayride! The farm was HUGE and you could pick-your-own with all kinds of vegetables, apples, pumpkins etc.

They had homemade ice cream. I had pumpkin chip (and shared with Israel - which made him throw up in the car.) Edith had smurf ice cream!




Aside from Israel getting sick in the car ride home, it was a wonderful day. The kids all did great with just a few meltdowns. We were there for about 3 hours plus an hour or so drive. It was a nice day out of the city, with the most beautiful fall foilage on our outing! Definitely filled my heart tank!
